Ok, so I'm using the term 'knitmas' somewhat lightly by offering up crochet patterns this month, but I wanted to showcase the fact that we do offer free crochet patterns. I'm also a firm believer that if you have the skill for knitting, then you can definitely master crochet with a little patience.

Our crochet patterns are perfect for beginners and more advanced crocheters alike. As a beginner I would definitely suggest starting with a simple blanket to learn the basics.

KIDDIES KALEIDOSCOPE C2C BLANKET

A corner-to-corner (C2C) blanket is a perfect beginners project. Using only the very simplest crochet stitches, this blanket grows in no time. If using a self-striping variegated yarn this creates an extremely satisfying pattern without any pesky loose ends! Click on the image to get the pattern!

PURE WOOL DK SPRING BLOOMS BLANKET

It is impossible to see this blanket without making 'Ooooooooh' sounds. The Cath Kidston style colours work beautifully together to create this breathtaking blanket. It really isn't as difficult as it looks either! The sewing together was probably the most fiddly part! Click on the image to view the pattern.

Boho chic cardigan

This is truly the simplest, yet most effective crochet pattern you will ever see. It is basically just one big granny square sewn in half. The variegated Boho yarn gives it the most fabulous striped effect in these beautiful shades. Mix it up a bit with one of our new Boho shades to make it your own.

TUNISIAN CROCHET HAT

I have to confess that I still haven't tried this craft. I have no excuses as I am currently sat with a big doubled ended Tunisian hook staring me in the face. I promise I'll have a go. Will you?
